Established in 2004, the Studio specializes in the conservation and restoration of paintings, murals and historic paint decorations. The studio undertakes treatments of the highest quality for museums, religious institutions, universities, private galleries & collectors. Our highly skilled staff performs sensitive and minimally invasive treatments on works of art exhibiting a wide range of condition problems. We've had the privilege of working on some of the finest works of art in the country but our dedication and passion for conserving works art extends to the most modest projects.

Gianfranco received his Master of Arts in Conservation (M.A.C.) from Queen’s University, Kingston Canada in 1984 and a Certificate of Advanced Training from the Center for Conservation and Technical Studies, Harvard Art Museums in 1989. In addition to directing the studio, his conservation experience includes fifteen years at the Straus Center for Conservation, Harvard Art Museums and sixteen years as Chief Conservator at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum.
Lorraine Bigrigg
Special Projects Conservator & Financial Officer
Lorraine received her Master of Arts in Conservation (M.A.C.) from Queen’s University, Kingston Canada in 1986. Lorraine undertakes special treatment projects and is the financial administrator. She is also a partner of Studio TKM Associates specializing in the conservation of works of art on paper, old and modern master drawings and prints, historic wallpaper, Asian paintings and screens, and historic globes. www.studiotkmassociates.com
Corrine Long
Associate Paintings Conservator
Corrine is a graduate of the Master of Art Conservation (M.A.C.), Queen's University, Class 0f 2020 and holds a B.A. from the University of New Hampshire in Art History and Studio Art. With the studio, she has conserved and restored a wide variety of paintings, murals and historic decorative paint. Corrine interned at the St. Louis Art Museum and she is also a trained production potter and ceramic artist.
